Last night in his sleep, Aaron scratched at his face, and then said, "Got it." in a very satisfied tone.
Last night I also dreamt about a field full of abandoned puppies, three in particular laying in a box and drowning in rainwater because it was storming. One of them was already headfirst in the water, with its hindparts floating above.

And then Dwight woke up throwing up at 5:30 in the morning, only 30 minutes before Aaron had to wake up for work...poor Aaron. It has been a weird few days.

I have been trying to kick ass playing Call of Duty 4 online. I came in third last night, but typically come in no better than second to last. I wish we could afford another PS3 (what luxury!), so me and Aaron could play each other.

It's very quickly coming towards the anniversary day of adopting Dwight (Feb 13). The other day, I realized that the Irving shelter has a "shelter walker," who takes pictures of all the dogs that end up at the shelter to help get the news out to rescues, or people wanting to adopt. So on a whim, I looked up the guy's name, found his photo page, and ended up finding his picture of Dwight from when he was still in the shelter. It's sort of surreal, and serendipitous because I've always regretted not asking to keep the little cards that were clipped to his cage in the shelter--the one that says, "microchipped, 13 pounds, vaccines given, etc." It would've also said that he would need wrist surgery in the future. Which ended up not being true, but still, it caused the shelter to give him to us for free, as if we had just picked up a changeling off the street. (Their adoption fee was only going to be $10 anyways.)
So here it is, Dwight's "adopt me!" picture and description that the guy came up with for him:

CAGE 18 "Leon" (1024)..male..Staff-X..2/1..2/7 - 12 lbs very friendly ADOPTED 2/13

Aaron and I laughed a lot about Dwight's former name. Leon sounds like a black jazz musician/beat poet.
