It's been such a long time since I last posted, and so much has happened. We now know of where we'll be next year and we've been househunting, which is a fairly frustrating process. Funnily enough, I also just 'discovered' the song Mushaboom by Feist, which is all about how hard it is to have an idea in your head about how you want to live, but the dreams don't match the pay. S'okay though cause one day we'll be raking it in like Kanye and for our twentieth anniversary I will buy Aaron a string of Krispy Kremes across Asia. And they'll make a hell of a lot more money than those burger kings he's buying!

I recently got second piercings in my ears, which my mom noticed, and just said, "Wait... You have two... Why?"

After I got them I felt complete, like I was totally satisfied. But just in the past week or so I've started wondering if maybe I should think about more piercings, such as helix or conch... or rook... Heh, I asked Aaron what should be my next, and he doesn't want me to do anymore, so he says nipples, which I would never.
So, needless to say I have been obsessed with earrings lately.

I started saber in my kung fu class and it has only reinforced to me how really bad my spatial skills are. Constantly confused by which direction to turn and how to put my feet. But it's fun, and here's a pic of me while practicing at home.

Finally, I have been listening to Kanye's Gorgeous nonstop... And my favorite line is, "Cause the same people that try to blackball me forgot about two things--my black balls!" You can bet I say that line with emphasis when singing along in the car.

"Every now and then, when my facial hair is long, Kitty and I rub whiskers... Like men," said Aaron.

As if there's anything masculine about rubbing whiskers with a cat.

Man I know my hormones are out of whack when Lady in Red comes on the intercom at the store and I realize it's actually a really moving song. Wth?!

McDonald's late night in the rain...

Today I accidentally packed the wrong shirt for my kung fu class,  so I had to wear Aaron's Ride the Lightning Metallica shirt. I got so many comments. When I was leaving, this kid was like, 'Did you go to a Metallica concert? Or do you just have the shirt?'
And I was like, 'Well, you know that movie Place Beyond the Pines? Ryan Gosling wears this shirt in it.'
Him: 'So you wear the shirt to feel closer to Ryan Gosling?'
Me: 'Well, not really...'

I should've just told him my husband has a man crush on Ryan Gosling...or rather, his character in that movie, but it just seemed like too much to explain.

If anyone ever wronged me, I would hope to respond as quickly and decisively as this girl. But I fear I would hesitate and just stand there, confused and panicked. Like the physical version of not coming up with a verbal comeback to an insult until 3 am, lying in bed and replaying the offensive situation over and over in your head.

Note that she kicks him so hard near the end she propels herself backwards about ten feet.

Oh, and I ended up going with Android...Windows OS was just too closed and I couldn't even bluetooth pictures I'd taken to the computer. I'm pretty much loving Android right now :) The only downside is my kitten pluggy doesn't work with my new phone! Though the fact that it does have a lanyard hole almost makes up for it.
